Morna's Playground

Thanks to your donations we were able to turn a haphazard backyard into a truly inspirational space for kids and families impacted by the 2013 Blue Mountains bushfires.



‘Morna’s Playground’ was named after the Winmlaee Neighbourhood Centre manager and features a state-of-the-art weather resistant playground set, parents retreat area and kids activity centre.

The playground opened almost one year to the day of the fires. 

Costing $30,000 to complete and we’re told is a treasured part of the community that has really brought a smile to faces young and old.
