About the Sebastians
Guy Sebastian is the only Australian male artist to have ever achieved six number one singles and two number one albums in chart history. Guy was born in Malaysia in 1981 and moved with his family to Melbourne, Australia at the age of 6. After turning 10 his family moved to Adelaide which they were to call home for all of Guy’s teenage years. Guy’s interest in music started at a young age taping his favourite songs from the age of four. It was at the age of 14 that Guy started singing. Over the course of his career Guy has received 17 ARIA Award Nominations including Single of the Year, Best Male Artist and Best Pop Artist and winning Highest selling Single ARIA Awards for Angels Brought Me Here and Who’s That Girl. Altogether, Guy has released 11 top ten singles, and three other top 15 singles. Six of those singles have achieved multi-platinum certification, including the 8x platinum Battle Scars. With 42 platinum and three gold certifications and combined album and single sales over 3 million in Australia, Guy has one of Australia’s best success stories.
Jules Sebastian is a Sydney-based television presenter, stylist and professionally trained make-up artist. Jules’ television career began at the helm of MTV’s Style Me, and her warm, bubbly and down to earth personality affirmed her a very special stylist to work with. Creating looks for celebrity clients and walking the red carpet herself, Jules understands the importance of always putting your best foot forward and is dedicated to being there every step of the way to ensure her clients are looking and feeling their very best. Jules loves leading her professional knowledge and creative input to fashion brands and labels. Jules has worked with brands such as Glassons as a campaign consultant and Diva as a fashion advisor. Jules is a frequent guest of the Today Show, The Morning Show, The Daily Edition, and Kyle and Jackie O, sharing her wisdom and expertise in fashion. Jules is conscious to ensure she plays an active role in making a difference, acting as ambassador for both World Vision and the Red Cross. In late 2013, Jules and Guy established The Sebastian Foundation and the collaborative nature of the organisation will see both Jules and the Guy work in conjunction with a range of benevolent organisations both nationally and on a global scale in order to create a lasting change in the lives of the less fortunate.
